Fender 1960 Jazz Bass Heavy Relic
SKU: F923-5001-166
In 1960, the Jazz Bass® was introduced as Fender's new "deluxe" bass guitar. Uses a smooth offset body and a slimmer neck shape. Two PUs are mounted, and the dual volume and tone control knobs create a wealth of tone options. Gorgeous yet versatile, this bass was an instant hit.
Introduced to commemorate the 60th anniversary, the 1960 Jazz Bass Heavy Relic® retains all of its original charm and character, with some player-acclaimed upgrades. The heavy Relic lacquered 2-piece alder body creates a well-played, original look and feel. The straight-grained maple neck boasts a smooth playability, and the neck width of the nut part adopts the original 1.5 inch specification, and the "U" profile of the 1960s is given. Heavy Relic is applied to the back part, and the radius of the fingerboard is 9.5 inches. It has 20 medium jumbo frets. Other features include a dual volume and tone knob, two hand-wound vintage Jazz Bass PUs, and a 4-ply brown shell pickguard. Includes deluxe hard case, strap and certificate.
