Jackson JS Series Dinky Minion JS1X, Silver Burst

A minuscule axe with a monstrous bite, the Jackson JS Series Dinky Minion JS1X is ideal for aspiring little shredders or grownup road dogs who need an easy-traveling axe loaded with features. The body is lightweight poplar; the speedy bolt-on maple neck has graphite-reinforcement rods for stability. The 2/3 scale length is 22.5" which hits the sweet spot between playability and portability. A rear-angled Jackson pointed 6-in-line headstock allows for evenly distributed tension, while a sculpted heel paves the way for easy upper fret playing. The 12" radius amaranth fingerboard has 24 jumbo frets and Sharkfin inlays.

A pair of Jackson high-output humbucking pickups with ceramic magnets crank out clear tone with plenty of girth. The neck position delivers bright highs while the bridge adds plenty of crunchy distortion. Its versatile voice can be further shaped with a three-way toggle switch and single volume and tone controls, while a string-through-body hardtail bridge with block saddles improves intonation and sustain.
